This journal is for Black Women to uncover their fears and learn to operate in faith anyway. This is a 60-day journal that will change your mindset, heart, and trajectory. Every day will start with an affirmation followed by a writing prompt. The entry will end with you writing one thing you are grateful for that day.
I first started journaling at the age of 6. For as long as I can remember journaling has helped me heal and celebrate parts of myself. Journaling was something instrumental in surviving my 20's. However, the older I got more demanding life became. For a while, I put journaling on the back burner because I didn't always have time to dedicate 30 minutes to an hour to writing. Things started to get interesting the further away I got from my routine of writing. When I decided to make it a mandatory part of my self-care plan I knew it had to be practical. I also knew I wanted to not just journal. I wanted to reflect, change and affirm. During this time I realized no one is fearless but we must learn to move in spite of fear. I began to acknowledge my fears and how they hindered me so I could move past it. Through repetition and reflection, I discovered that even when I journaled about the bad & uncomfortable yet planted myself in GRATITUDE my days were better. Then affirmations sealed the deal. I know how much affirmations, journaling, and gratitude have helped me heal. I wanted to combine all 3 and share it with my sisters. There is no time better than now to find inner peace and live the life God has for you. There will always be fear you just have to let your faith be bigger.
